A Mermaid's Tale

Hope you enjoy another written first chapter of a story. I have been enjoying Mermaids all summer, because of watching an Anime called  Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. Awesome anime you should get into Ladies. So That is why I' ve been writing and thinking what I should write about swimmers, and I love mermaids too since I was a kid. So I decided to write something about Mermaids and Swimmers. Don't know if it ll be good in the end. I ll try and write as much as I can of this story on Deviantart, but since College Starts tomorrow. I ll do my bet to write it on my free time. And sorry about my bad grammar, Let me know How you like it, I really want to see some good critique here of what I ve written so far.  


Grandma May: "Years Ago, Mermaids were believed to save people from disasters. And to encourage them to evolve into mermaids to survive their relationship problems.  When I was a very young girl, I was abused by my fiance.My finace kept on abusing me everyday after his work. Then one miracle day when I was collecting sea shells on the beach, I met a strange very Ocean blue eye handsome Man. He was very fit and well liked by many Girls in the village. His name was Robert De Helios, and he always been a very famous, rich, and a well known Fisherman. He came up to me and gave me a very well known kiss, A French Kiss." (Grandma chuckled)

5 yr old Girl Renee: " What did the kiss felt like Granny?"

Grandma May: (She blushed and said)" It was a very welcoming and warm feeling inside, and that I knew one day it'll all change my life forever. One Stormy night, my Fiance  gave me a good, well you know, in a worst kind kind of abusing, and then he kept on smacking me and  he was judging me with harsh words. Those harsh words somehow cursed him, and he was dead. No breathe, and no life. But there was a dark light orb coming out from his chest, and then I saw Robert at the door way. He grabbed the dark light orb, and ate it! He then looked at me, and I found out why he was staring at me, and it was because I ve was turned into a mermaid. He then said"It was about time I ve turned into one of his own mermaids to hide from the darkness." He then carried me to the Ocean the next morning at sunrise, and we swim off to an facinating place with caves that connects to the ocean. Very Beautiful cave walls of crystals. Later on in the year, he took me to another village, there he was liked by many girls. I then later on knew what he was doing. He was saving woman from abusive and mean men of this world, and hid them from view until its safe. So I return to my home alone, I knew everything from what he told me of the Ocean, So I went back home to my village before.  I then was liked again by the villagers, and I found out they forgot about my fiance and I a year ago. I was then got adopted by another old woman, I was 20 at the time, and she still took me as one of her stray wonderful daughters. So one day I was saving a Dolphin from a net, and then aFisherman spotted me and lifted me up from his bare hands. He was quite strong, and quite a shy Man. The Fisherman saw my true form as a mermaid, and he loved me and believe in  mermaids for so long. He brought me home with him. I haven't been staying in this village for quite some time, and I was still scared of this Fisherman. I thought he would be a cruel gentlemen, but actually he wasn't. He was having the same problems like I was, getting bullied by the other fishermens, and his divorce wife that cheated on him for another men. His name was Robert De Liro, same name of the handsome Man that saved me when I was 18 yrs old from my abusive Fiance. Then we got married, and had kids. Of course you're Mom didnt have any fins. I think its not a genetic thing, but you can be a mermaid anyday. Just believe And you will be part of the Ocean!"

5 yr old Renee: ( Smiling with belief) "Wow Granny that was an Awesome Story"

Grandma May: (Winks at her Grandaughter Renee) "Thank you my dear, and if you have any troubles with men, or Boys. Just believe that one day You will be saved by a Mermaid.(She gets off from her rocking chair, and kissed Renee, and walk her to her bed, to put Renee to sleep".
